been watching some of these videos off the cd rom the videos seem much more watered down than my mike meyers a + Sixth edition ebooks on the same subjects. are these any good?

They will be fine to use with the Meyers book but I wouldn't recommend using video tutorials on their own.

 

Some may say it's a bit over the top, but i always try to watch (and read) as many resources as I can. Some things are explained clearer by different authors/instructors.
