    Hi and welcom to CF!

Based on the info given I'd say that A+ was your first port of call.

This will 'solidify' your repair experience - and may even teach you something new!

Edit: The cheapest way is to self-study. Your experience should make this easy.

    Harry.

Also worth noting that passing a few certs won’t guarantee a pay rise.

As already mentioned the A+ is probably the best cert to start with. :biggrin

Agreed that A+ would be a good start, and a vote for self study. It really depends how much money your willing to lay out on how many resources you can get, but the Mike Meyers All In One 6th Edition would be the first one you need.

    Welcome to CF btw! :)

What area of IT are you interested in? Do you want to be a network admin, engineer or desktop support? Plenty of options! :biggrin

Get the A+ done and then perhaps move onto some network related certs?
