Can't download upgrades

Not being connectivity expert, local provider set up ADSL at my home connection here in Lithuania. I have good internet access, but I am unable to download upgrades to antivirus software, google earth, etc. My error messages inform me that something is wrong with my connection. Any tips on how to configure proper set up? Excuse my english grammer, is not the best. Aciu!

Sounds like something on your firewall needs configuring.

What do you currently use for a firewall?

You will need to give us more information regarding your anti-virus software and as Simon said your firewall.
