Can't connect to Google

I've got Google set as my home page on all of my computers so you can imagine I visit it fairly often. I clicked on Home about 10 minutes ago and got an error message "www.google.com cannot be found. Check the name and try again". Can't ping google by name and I can't get an IP for google to see if I can ping them by IP. I can ping yahoo and cisco and surf the web just fine otherwise. Anyone else having this experience?

googles working fine for me
do u have an IP stored in cache you can test pings against?

Reply from 64.233.161.104: bytes=32 time=167ms TTL=243

try that ip if you dont
see if you can ping the actual ip

also see if you can do it after an ipconfig /flushdns

 

It's back. Must have been a hiccup.

It seems the problems have been resolved in the mean time. 

There was one report of a redirect during the downtime to a "sogo" search page, if you have captures of what DNS contained at those times, we'll be happy to receive them.
