Mate - its all working... like i said, all i done was a system restore... I restored it back 1 week, however, around 3 days ago, i removed the drive from disk management, and requires formatting to pop back up (this is the only thing that has not been restored...

Hope this helps, im not sure why i did not think of this before, nor did anyone else...

anyway, cheers everyone for all your help, most appreciated... Thanks... :thumbleft

Right-click on the drive in Disk Management and select "Chage drive letters and paths", it will list any folders the drive is mounted on.

Got this all sorted now (Finally i know!)

i deleted the partition on Disk 2, formated Disk 1 and got my spanking working into a lovely 30gb...

also changed the CD ROM drive letter. aswell

All i need now to do is sort the bloody fan out, (the WD40 thread)

    Cheers...

    Case Closed...

but the drives i formatted with secondary drives, my OS and main backup data was on Disk 0, whereas my probs were on Disk 1 and 2 (Spanning probs)

With the Shares problem, a simple system restore done the trick.
