So i ran memtest one DIMM at a time and that passed ok.
I checked temps and voltages which were

    CPU Temp - 35 degrees
    MB Temp - 37 degrees

    CPU Voltage - 1.200v
    3.3v - 3.26v
    5v - 4.96v
    12v - 12.096v

So that seems all fine to me.
I went to Trendmicro and used their scanner which didnt show up anything.
So i then downloaded AVG antivirus and did a full scan which flagged up 8 corrupted EXE files.
So i removed these and it seems to have done the trick (so far so good)

So once again thanks to everyone who lent their experience to helping me solve this problem :)

I have a couple tips that you should consider. If AVG found something I would go ahead and run a malware bytes quick scan and a scan with super anti-spyware. They often find things that AVG will miss and the quick scans do not take that long. Also, You should turn your system restore off, reboot, then turn it back on. Make sure you get rid of anything that may be hiding in a restore point. oh, and make sure you uninstall either avast or avg.

    Thanks i will do that.
I uninstalled Avast before installing AVG as it wouldnt let me install without doing that, even though i had it disabled!

Remember to boot into safe mode when attempting to remove spyware etc as they typically do not load in a safe boot environment making them easily detectable. :biggrin
