Greetings.I am Mrs. Sarah Williams, an English woman who is suffering from cancerousailment.
I was married to Sir Jim Williams{late} who also is an Englishman. My husband worked with the British Railways for over two decade before the cold hand of death took him away on the 23rd of July 2003 at about 2:00AM. Our marriage lasted for over a decade without children. My husband died after a protracted illness. My husband and I made a vow to uplift the down-trodden and the less-privileged individuals within the Europe, North and South America, Africa, Asia and the rest of the globe as he had passion for persons who cannot help themselves due to physical disability or financial predicament.

I can adduce this to the fact that he needed a Child from this relationship, which never came. When my late husband was alive he deposited the sum of £4.3Million (Four Million Three Hundred Thousand Great Britain Pounds Sterling Only) presently, this money is still with a Bank. Recently, my Doctor told me that I have a limited or numbered days on earth and that my life span will not exceed 90 days due to the cancerous problems I am suffering from.Though what bothers me most is the stroke that I have in addition to the cancer.

I want a non governmental, or a non religious, and or a non profit organization or better an individual, that will use this gift which comes from my husbands sweat to fund the upkeep of widows, widowers, orphans, destitute, the down-trodden, physically challenged children,barren-women and persons who prove to be genuinely handicapped financially.

It is often said that blessed is the hand that giveth. I took this decision because I do not have any child that will inherit this money and my husband relatives are bourgeois and very wealthy persons and I do not want my husband's hard earned money to be misused or invested into ill perceived ventures.I do not want a situation where this money will be usedin an ungodly manner, hence the reason for taking this bold decision.

I am not afraid of death hence I know where I am going when I eventually pass on.As soon as I receive your reply I shall give you the contact of the Bank. I will also issue you a Letter of Authority that will empower you as the original beneficiary of this fund. My happiness is that I lived a life worthy of emulation. Please always be prayerful all through your life.

Any delay in your reply will give me room in sourcing for a non-governmental,or a non religious, and or a non profit organization or better an individual for this same purpose. Please assure me that you will act just as I have stated herein. Hope to hear from you soon and God bless you and members of your family and nothing more is expected from you move as I have wished.

    Mrs. Sarah Williams.{Benefactor}.

Is this for real. I would really like to help this poor woman.

Stupid scams its like what my mum got the other week, she recieved a letter (the 2nd time) saying she had won the lottery in Spain (we havent been to spain since I was 9) and if she wanted the 58 million euros she would have to send of the form with her bank details on so she could pay £250 to release the money.

What a load of bollox and I pity the fool who believes these scams

I think it's amazing that people get sucked in by this crap. I guess people see the £££ signs and throw all rational thinking to the wind, it all comes down to greed I suppose.

LOL:p:biggrin...I think you should help her nugget (not!!!!):p

It's like punkboy said it's amazing how many people fall for these scams.
But the best scam is those shopping websites.

Did anyone see Watch Dog? They setup a fake website called:-
    theunbelievablegiftcompany.co.uk

they wanted to find out if they could scam people, the report asks why people thought the website they were using was OK. A lot of people stated that if a website was stylished and showed the word paypal then they trusted it. :blink:ohmy

Here's the original report:- Watchdog Aired on 24 March 2008 on BBC1

Anyone wondering how/why people still fall for these scams (and they do - according to the FBI, the amount lost in 419 scams in 2007 was a staggering 712 million dollars) would do well to take a look at the people they know/are related to/work with. Think those people can be trusted on the internet? Add the general propensity for human greed and stupidity and its no wonder the scams are still successful.

I'll have you know that not all of these things are scams you know. I recently agreed to help a Nigerian Prince transfer his money out of the country, to get away from his murderous uncle, and stand to earn myself a cool 5 mil for my time. I just need to go to Holland to meet up with my friend so I can authorise the transfer into my account, and come home a millionaire.

Spoken to him a few times over email now, and hes been plenty polite, if a little urgent to get things done.

I’m glad someone came to their defense. I was getting scared... Just because some people have been scammed doesn’t mean we all will be! I sent my $800 for my piece of the $10MM reward.

The guy (as polite as Fergal’s friend) told me he’d send me the cheque payable to Mr. Sucker. I tried to correct the spelling of my name, but he was sure it’s spelled S-U-C-K-E-R. I don’t get it, and haven’t received my cheque either

Fergal, if your friend needs a little help to get a numbered bank account here, just let me know. I'm sure I could set it up for a modest fee. Tell you what, I don't have the spare cash at the moment (but I like you and want to help you guys) so if you could loan me some so I can get this started then we'll all be happy.
