Sounds like a really dumb question but please help me...
I was thinking about going for Microsoft certification for windows sever 2008 but when I tried studying for the same I think I find 70-646 a lot easier to give first and then go for 70-640 and 642

But I am not sure if we can give pro exam before TS exam...

as 70-640 and 70-642 are TS exam and 70-646 is a pro exam...
Hope you understand what I am talking about.

    Thanks guys!!!

You can do them in any order mate but you are advised to do the MCTS exams before the Pro because you'll learn stuff that will help you pass the Pro exams, but yeah, pretty sure you can do any in any order. Jim

Is this still the case? because inorder to be a Pro you must meet the requirements, which usually require a TS.

    make sense?

No I'm 99% sure you can sit a pro exam, you just won't get the certification related to the Pro exam until you've sat the MCTS exams

**Edit: Only 99% because I haven't actually done this myself nor would I advise it

There are no prerequisites for Microsoft exams. You simply won't get the certification until you pass the lower-level exams in the track.
