Can anyone get this to download?

    Just wondered if it's me doing something wrong but, can anyone else download the DAT file from this website?

    I've been trying for weeks and it always stops at around 25% done.

    Can anyone here successfully download it? Just want to make sure I am not at fault here. Thanks!

    Seriously? You downloaded the DAT file correct? The very first link?

    That's absolutely the bizarrest thing ever. I've tried to download it now for weeks. I tried everything, IE6, IE7, IE8, Opera, Chrome, Firefox and Safari (seriously!). I tried different computers at different locations and it still would not download!

    How weird! I wonder why it wouldn't work? It couldn't possibly be geoblocking because the download would not have started for in the first place. Very weird!

    Thanks a million for downloading it for me. Let's see if I can download it now! :biggrin

    I'm on 37% but even with my 20Mb connection the download speeds are pathetic.

    So I'm egoistically (as opposed to technically) inclined to say that there's also probably a problem with the site.

    There are probably technical reasons why this isn't the case, but I'm not clever enough to be aware of them :rolleyes: :oops:

    As a base for comparison I'm on firefox 3.05, no proxy sever, straight into a dsl connection.

    Are you downloading this from home or work?

    Not yet.

    Hasn't gone above 20 kb/s yet - and I'm used to 1 mb/s - this is painful

    It's weird how you are all able to download it though. I just don't get why it stops for me quarter of the way through. Has anyone experienced a similar thing before?

    Ok, this is beyond a joke now. Q's graciously emailed me the file (thanks a mil), and guess what.

    IT STILL STOPS AT 25%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
