Bucket List

having watched the film 'The Bucket List' with Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson last night I've found myself making my own list (for anyone not familiar with the film/concept a bucket list is a list of things to do before you 'kick the bucket'). So far I've come up with:

1. Go on Safari
2. Learn to play the Piano
3. Learn sign language
4. Become a father
5. Build a writing desk (not flatpack)
6. Own a boat

I was surprised by how little I could think of, at 26 I thought I'd come up with loads of stuff about owning things or having money and then when I really thought about it I realised I don't actually give a **** about any of that....

Anyone else gone through a similar exercise? anyone got a bucket list they'd like to share?

I want a Wikipedia page about me, and I don't mean one I have created, I mean a proper one, that someone else has made like Richard Yoo has.

 

Right don't laugh but: (random order though)

1. Go to space
2. Own R&D centre and invent wicked cool stuff that will change the world
3. Speak 5 languages
4. Own an island, yacht and a jet.
5. Witness flying cars and colonisation of other planets.

Shame only point 3 is actually possible but since it's a bucket list

 

In order of the likelihood and chronological time that these will be completed:

1. Run a marathon.
2. Learn to share the Gospel in another language.
3. Become a black belt.
4. Learn to play piano - properly.
5. Raise my sons to become mighty men of valor.
6. Pay off my house.
7. Celebrate my 50th wedding anniversary.
8. Travel to space.
9. Finish strong.

 

Josiahb, based on your byline, I think you need to add "analyze spam" to your bucket list (unless you've already finished that)

 

1) jump in the water in a flimsy aluminium cage with a great white lurking about
2) Go on safari with my family
3) Go to New Zealand (again)
4) become a guitar virtuoso (or even just play really well)
5) Walk the Great Wall of China for a charity
6) run a marathon

in no particular order, just off the top of my head
