A friend of mine had a BTEC in CE about 3 years ago and started a repair company which does pretty well but the BTEC seems a little basic from what I have read so I wondered if the CompTIA+ and Network+ would be a better option. I'd like to know if anyone has done either of these courses and what did you think?

While I don't have the BTEC qualification, I did take a look into this.

Provided it's the same qualification I'm thinking off and looked into, the National BTEC Award in Computer Engineering incorporates the A+ and the BTEC Advanced Diploma in IT Network Design & Administration Level 3 incorporates the Network+.
