    Chkdsk and a Virus Scan to free up your time mate. I work on a 80k+ estate, no time for much more unless specifically requested, which to be fair sounds like what you've been asked to do, as unusual as that may sound.

    Let us also be aware that the companies Computer Policy will also come into effect. At least in the UK this will give an indication of what happens to the data on the PC's/Servers and what is and is not acceptable and what happens to the data/user if there is a contravension of this policy.

    Wow. What an idiot she is!

    It's tremendously difficult to get into this profession without any experience at the best of times. This girl had the chance to be given a bit of a help to get into it and she has thrown it away.

    She sounds like she has an entitlement mindset to me. If she can't see that what she is doing is wrong then she really doesn't deserve any help GBL.

    And to think of the hassle I had getting into IT.

    If someone from the IT department had offered help I would've jumped at the chance and soaked up any and all knowledge they would pass on.

    Anyone I interview from now on is going to be grilled on technical stuff
