books and stuff

    OK OK im guessing the mike meyers books are well recommended around here, now im hopefully going to start UNI in sept, are there any other bookk by certain people i should look out for

    My course covers operating systems, networks, mobile applictaions,programming, mobile computer divices and interface development

    Any decent Uni should be able to give you a book list. Best is to ask your tutor (or whatever they are called these days).

    There are *lots* of classic books on those subjects; so many in fact that you could blow a 4 figure sum on them easily. It rather depends on the emphasis given to the various parts as to what would be best.

    Talk to the tutor!

    Hi zxspectrum

    That looks like an interesting course.
    I'm currently looking at doing an IT course in the Liverpool area.
    I may well look into studying at Edge Hill further. :)
