Ha. Scared the lot of you, didn't I?

Well. How the devil is everyone?

I logged on this evening and there's a box at the top of the screen with red writing that says I haven't posted in 'several weeks'. So I have decided to get rid of it the only obvious way. By posting

I've been lurking a lot recently. Unforunately I'm far too late to put my two pennies in on lots of good debating threads. But rest assured, they were good t'punnies, and I won't hear anyone say anything different, m'kay?

So. Why lurking? Apart from keeping one eye in the back of mah head to make sure you bunch don't misbehave  work has been deliciously busy with all sorts of projects. Home life has been manic also, and went on my first holiday abroad, for a romantic weekend in Prague (interjected with :slidedrin). Unforunately, my boyfriend missed the completely massive hint to propose to me on the St Charles Bridge, but next time, the bugger won't get a chance, as I'll take it out of his hands and do the proposing myself. Mwuhaha, etc.

I have unfortunately had to delay my charity cycle, as working commitments mean I haven't been able to commit the time to training properly. So despite being able to cycle long distances (40 miles in around 3 hours) I have no uphill endurance. Were the cycle to be across Holland, I would stand a chance; but as it begins in Cornwall, I'd be falling off the bike into a ditch about 10 metres up Clovelly. So not far at all. But I will still be doing it, so don't forget about it - and I haven't forgotten about those who have generously coughed up so far :)

And then there have been all sorts of studying and writing projects hopping around. But they're top secret, and I'll have to set Mitzs on anyone that finds out about them.

So. What have you crazy kids been up to?

Glad you had such a good time on your vacation. The pics were great hun. Although I am starting to think your man is not the brightest blub in the box. Maybe next time you can draw a picture with a big red X to mark the spot.:biggrin

Welcome back Arro, glad to hear that you have been having some fun, albeit intermingled with some hard work. Yeah, next time do the proposing yourself, thats how i ended up hitched. Most guys will procrastinate ad infinitum, so i see no harm in reversing the normal trend.

Nothing much different going on downunder, getting busier over time but it's all fun hey.

Anyhoo, good to see you posting again, we missed ya :)

hey Arr, nice ta see ya back (dn't miss ya much though ;) )

They still rebuilding the (thought it was KING) Charles Bridge? Its got a nice view and i'd consider it a romantic place to propose (unliek my first marriage where i went down on oe knee drunk in the middle of Barnstaple high street!) I was in Prague back in Feb. My hotel was up to the hill past the palace you can see from the bridge, its a long walk up a steep hill!

And i also know the ditch at Clovelly. Spent a few nights drunk there, as well as Bude, when going back and forth from Cornwall to Devon.

So when can ya tell us ya secrets??? or do we have to keep pestering for info?

Anyways nice ta have ya back, and dont stray away for too long again.

Are you sure he just missed it or was he perhaps "dodging the bullet (and hoping you wouldn't notice)". I agree...you may have to take matters into your own hands.

Glad to see you here again.

Are you after a beating Mr? lol.

If anything, the last gathering would have put him off after Black Pudding lady mistook me for a man...

Thanks for the welcomes back. I'll attempt to start posting constructive stuff soon... but I don't particularly see why I should buck the trend of not posting anywhere but OT! lol.

I always thought you looked like a cat with headphones on. I think Michael still sees you as a "hippy", though.:biggrin
