Woke up this morning to discover that my PC had turned itself off, so switched it bacjk on, would only stay on for a few seconds. Did some fiddling, came to the conclusion something has gone on my motherboard, so boo hoo I had to strip everything out of my linux box and replace it with the parts from my windows box, good job I had this spare box otherwise I'd have no comp for months.

The up side is, this box is a lot higher spec then my old box.

Now got to build a new box to put my linux drive into.

It's all good fun

Rebuild is complete for the moment. No new computer bits for me this year

 

That's hard mate. For me it's usually 'no bits for me this week'.

Why not just throw the computer out of the window and go back to pen and paper? More eco for the planet and just think how much electricity you will save
