Hi everybody. I'm looking around to see what's available in the market here and have updated my CV accordingly. I've done it as a sort of general IT CV as I don't have a specific position in mind.

Be honest about what you think of it, brutal if you must.

    What a cheery photo! :biggrin

In seriousness though, and I'm just adding my two cents here, here is a couple of things I would personally suggest to amend:

    1. Not sure if it's a good idea to attach a photo to a CV unless specifically requested by the potential new employer.

    2. The background image behind the text is distracting. Again, I feel it better to leave the page plain and simple.

    3. Move the first job on your experience list down to the second page, doesn't matter if the first page has a big gap, you need to keep all the info about that job together on one page.

    4. Move 'Certifications' to the first page under your skills summary.

    5. The font is a bit....'busy'. Maybe use a Verdana or Arial to make it look a bit cleaner and less like 'The Times' which always looks like it has 9 million words per article and nobody ends up reading them because we're all tired and hungover on a Sunday and say "f**k that, where's the comics?".

    6. Hit enter under your job title to give it a line of space between the job title and job description and again before the bullet points.

    7. Remove 'gladly' from the request section. It's a bit too 'cosy' methinks.

    Hope my critique helped! :)

It's generally the custom over here.

    That's just a watermark I put in which I'll remove.

    Good idea. Thanks.

That's what I thought about the font and I must admit it's not my favourite.

    Couple of points :

    1) do you really want to be saying NT at the start ? May be better off saying Server 2003/08

    2) employment listing - on one you say "2004" and don't quote the month whereas on the others you have the month quoted too (just be consistent)

That's a nice CV, written in a good 'achievement' style - the experience speaks for itself.
