I think the news is as up and down as the share price. Its a rollercoaster if you can stomach it. A lad in work said he made 45% in one day using an app called BUX. I wouldn't recommend it as you can likely lose that or more just as easily but it's hard not to be fascinated by it all. Did you read about those Winklevoss brothers potentially being billionaires off it :S

Yeah, pretty cool. But they started off with a Million or so didn't they. Not exactly money you find down the back of the sofa.

Ha ha yes reminds me of the Donald saying he only had a mere £200 million pound loan from his father to begin with (or something to that effect)

No jokes, Iv'e also got namecoin and ppcoin wallets I'm just tracking down now. I was heavy into all of this in 2013. This is my hope for Doge which I've only just gotten into. Keep it for 3 or 4 years and who knows!

This was the start of my little garage operation, if you look closely you'll see my ugly mug on the laptop

Guys, I took out a loan last week to put on crypto (Plus put all of my savings in) and I've almost already made the money back from the loan. I was aiming for 2 months, but it'll be less than 2 weeks at this rate. This is crazy. Wish I'd borrowed double now though.

Good on you mate I'm seriously considering something similar. That doge doubled in a month. Doesn't make me fancy putting ten grand on it. Nothing ventured nothing gained. I think my savings get 1%

It's on the news today that NK are hacking the big exchanges. I can imagine that's true with the way it's all exploding. I never forget bitcoin was about £600 a coin when I was a miner. If only I'd of bought ten back then

That's very brave (some would say stupid:) ). Can you sleep at night? I certainly would not... Of course depends how much relatively you loaned and put in savings - no stress if it's say one months wages.

Hope you have some kind of plan to make sure you don't end up with only the loan to pay! Surely cryptos are here to stay but they won't keep growing in value forever like this. Good luck!

It's a fair bit, but It'll only take a year to repay it. Can't see myself losing money tbh. Honestly, I wish I'd taken out 50K. It doesn't matter how much you take out, it will always take the same amount of time to pay it back. I could have made like 35K in a week if I'd been a bit braver.

I wish I had the guts to do it (And find a way of not telling the wife). I am going to stick to Doge for the time being. See what happens there.

Jim, did you find your BitCoins in the end?

I sure did buddy. Just waiting to see if they go up a little and they're gone. Likewise, I'll be sticking with Doge for now, you can own thousands for not a lot of cash so its a good mix of risk and reward I think

Lol. Awesome. Did you go with the briefcase approach or just a boring bank transfer?

My money is on briefcase. Cold hard cash in unmarked bills (what ever that means) and a few two pound coins. Not one pound. Too trivial

Boring bank transfer, you have to pay £25 for the payment, the cheek of it...

Oh and it was a small 2 bed flat, not a house...
