I dont know who else has heard that this has been re-vamped for our generation. But I just watched the pilot episode (which hasnt even been shown on any TV anywhere in the world).

It features our very own Michelle Ryan (Zoe Slater from Eastenders) with a very convincing American accent.

Have to admit it has potential and this pilot certainly showed it.

So just to clarify, its not yet on US TV but I think it will be shown either Sept or Oct 2007...so look out for it.

Michelle Ryan playing the Bionic Woman, Dont think she can compare to Lindsey Wagner.

Dont know how this will work these days but could be interesting.

 

Heard about this months ago, the pilot is due to air in the US on 26th September

I have watched the pilot...my sources will stay anonymous...but watch out for the female to female showdown towards the end of the show...I never understood why women love to fight each other but when its two bionic women...well it kinda gets dirty...ooops I think I just let slip a spoiler there...oh well

Did Pat used to be a man or is that corination street I dont watch either so I dont know, the last time I saw eastenders Dirty den got shot and fell in a canal, never watched corry but somewoman in it plays a woman who was a man or something and PAt look like she used to be a man but isnt or wasnt.

 

Pat has always been a woman, it was roy's wife in coronation street that used to be a man, not that I watch this stuff

 

The original show was pretty corny as I recall. I hope the redo the engineering behind the concept. If a person with bionic limb directly attached to their normal human skeleton with no reenforcement tried all of those stunts, the limbs would be ripped from them forthwidth. Also, the physics behind running at superspeed wouldn't work. Her legs would literally run out from under her and she'd end up on her backside.

Not bad...but still watch the whole first episode, which is about an hour long (and thats without those sodding adverts/commercials that take 5min each!!) So if u add those, the program could take 1hr 30min

 

Hmm, not sure I'm down with this. The trailer looked dodgy at best
