    Hi

I am currently doing A+. I have no IT job experience and ideally I want to get into networking, but from what I gather, foot in the door IT jobs start as Helpdesk and 1st Line Support.

What certificates look better to an employer for these positions. A+ and N+? or A+ and MCDST?

basically I want to know what cert I should go for after A+.

    Thanks

If your looking for a job in the roles stated, you may find MCDST more ideal for your needs, although both N+ and MCDST are great entry level certs.

In your situation, I would go for the A+ first, then MCDST, then N+.

    Hope that helps.

Yeah, I think your first objective is an I.T. Job!

So as stated MCDST may be your best bet.

Not so sure, I found the N+ a very good cert to do after the A+
If you do the MCDST after that, you'll find a lot of the content you've already covered in the other two cert's ;)

However, if you think the MCDST will help more, go for that first!
