Hi if I am doing the 2 exam route can I use "CCNA - Cisco Certified Network Associate Study Guide: Exam 640-802" by Todd Lammle?

Or would I be better off getting the 2 separate Wendell Odom books which focus on ICND1 then ICND2?

Or any other better options you could suggest?

    Thanks

Both Sybex and Cisco Press are worth studying.

Also worth looking, 31 Days Before Your CCNA Exam - ISBN 1587131978. Very handy small book with everything summarised.

Thanks but I am worried buying a book that focuses on the single exam such as the Lammle one, will mean I don't know what I need for the ICND1 exam and I end up learning it all in one go (if that makes sense). I want to focus on just the content needed for the first part.

The two Wendell Odom books will serve you well. I used the part 1 for the first exam, and have part 2 for when i do the ICND 2 exam.

Sure, that makes sense. All (or most of) the info you will need is in the book, but it might not be separated out cleanly between ICND1 and ICND2. :)
