Being let loose on the servers

Been doing desktop/1st line for my company for 14 months now and today the boss told me next week I would be building a raided file server under the guidance of one of the 3rd line guys.

Have been working hard and studying hard so really glad to be getting this chance.

remember if you keep RDPing to other servers that you come out the way you went in and dont just close the main window coz it leaves you logged into every machine. yup you can guess how i know this

Anyone who fancies doing 1st line *and* 3rd line at the same time come and work in a school!

Day one ... AM - resetting user accounts, PM - stripping down laserjets
Day two ... AM - build your own machine from spare parts, PM - build a test server from spare parts
Day three ... be given some manuals and left to get on with it all in your own time ...

Have fun with those servers ...
