    Hey All,

Without giving too much away, Yours Truly has been given an interesting security role at work. As a result I need to learn about "fighting fire with fire", if you get my drift

So can anyone with any knowledge of the subject guide me towards some "soft" UDP ports that are easy to connect to on a remote machine ?

    Thanks in advance :thumbleft

No worries, Derek - perfectly legal, I can assure you.

I'm gonna be in charge of e-mail abuse (ie I'll be receiving the [email protected] cases)

Just need to learn a trick or two, (as instructed by my boss).

Perhaps I should close this thread...I'll wait and see .....

I understand that lots of automated hacker tools are available on the web. http://www.******.com is supposed to be a good site. Just be careful when you visit these places. Make sure the computer you are using is updated to the max for security patches, anti-virus definitions and spyware. Lot's of these places like to "test" their visitors by leaving them some surprises. You could also try some of the security forums such as the one over at http://www.securelyspeaking.com. Choose the appropriate forum (because they are a security site, they have a number of forums on the matter) and pose your question.

A decent hacker site that I stumbled across many moons ago is www.**********.com, agree with trip on the up to date security on your machine before you visit too.

I think it time to lock this thread as it seems to be heading in the wrong direction.
