glad i never went to THAT school
there called public holidays for a reason :)

Me? well im off to the barbers to get my head shaved again haha, and then im off to Cheltenham for a massive boozer for my friends 21st, there will be much vodka redbulls had by me, and even if i run out of my own (bringing 2x bottles of Smirnoff blue triple distilled) ill get them at student union prices muahaha
also getting to see a few mutual friends who i havnt seen for years since they headed off to uni, so a nice reunion there

taking my bike in to get it serviced at some point, need some new pedals, the ones i can hook special shoes into and a new chain, probably upgrade the computer and get a bigger camelpack, along with a new lock and some insurance, then i should be set for the coming summer commute to work, as well as the weekend galavanting around the hills :)

other than that im catching up on the week of WoW i missed due to faulty monitor, my mates just hit lvl 40, i only just hit lvl 38, we were neck and neck forever
ofcorurse it doesnt matter, i need 92g to get my horse at lvl 40, and i have 33, so i wont be getting a horse just yet :D

    and thats that :)
listening to a bit of classic Aerosmith and enjoying the weather, need some new oakleys tho, these ones are finally falling apart (you can view them in my profile picture) some git trod on them last year knocking the lense and warping the frame, along with scratching the lenses, i managed to sort of get the lens back, but its not perfect, and its scrathed to hell, ive had them a good 6+ years though, lasted pretty well i guess :)

Well, I've had the last week off, helping my brother move outta his place, and now this morning I'm goin to help another friend move. The sun is out (still only 8.30 here, way to early for a saturday lol) gonna be about 14 C today 8) , which might not be as warm as the UK but it ceertainly beats the minus ridiculous temperatures we have just come out of.

Tonight is the housewarmin party, with lot's of free beer, so tomorrow is the hangover recovery and sleep it off day. Then I start my new job Monday. No bank holiday here, but I do get one 3 day weekend a month at this company :biggrin

No holiday here in the US. Doing yard work here on Sunday and hopefully, some work on the book. Getting pretty tired. About to call it a night. See you later, mates. :)

Weekend so far - Friday, excellent. Lots of driving down country roads in glorious weather. Bought part of a house (Walk into bank. Can I have a cheque made out? Yes, how much for? £80,000 please. :D ) And then finished work at 4. Had more than a few beers on the night.

Saturday - hungover. Cut grass & washed car just in time for it to rain. Watched Lord of the Rings.

Sunday - Got up to find a large fry-up being made by my Dad. Then went and watched Villa get trounced by Spurs. Damn.

Playing football tonight & then some beers. No idea what i'm doing tomorrow, although cert work will probably feature quite highly.

    So, a mixed bag really!

Well it's sunny outside and I'm stuck in the office. They had a thunder storm on Saturday evening and it messed up the telephone system, so I'm trying to get a spare part for it, on a bank holiday :x

Ooo there was thunder down in cheltnham wheer I was, I think I had strolled into the middle of a football pitch and propped myself up against the goal post, suddenly aware of my situation when I heard an enourmous bolt of lightning less than a mile away, at that point i figured sitting against a metal post raising 8 feet above the surroundings was probably not the best idea, and headed back to the party

I had ofcourse drunk over 1L of tripple distilled smirnoff blue(13% stronger than that red lark) by this point (this point being, under 4 hours from arrival lol), mixed somewhere along the lines with sambuca, baileys, southern comfort, red bull, and a splash of pimms (dont ask)

fortunatly I was the only one on sunday morning without a hangover lol (never had one of those)
I'll post a pic of some wastedness of i can find one, we managed to steal a police cone and a tescos shopping trolly at some point during the evening

What a bloody good weekend it was, being a student house me and my mate were probably two of maybe 3 people there with full time jobs, so we ended up forkin out over £100 on booze, but it was a great night, and i think my friend enjoyed her 21st a whole lot more than I enjoyed mine lol :)

Till next year then *cheers* :D

mitz: its not actually bald, never gone that route yet, its a 'half' crew cut, so pretty darn close lol so short in fact by sunday morning, 24 hours after shaving, my stubble was about the same length and looked rather odd in photos, lol

Just got back from a cracking weekend in Durham where we spent 3 days (2 nights) with some good friends and their kids, so maybe not everyone's ideal jaunt.

But for us it was first class - days filled doing stuff for the kids that "grown-ups" can enjoy as well. Went to the Forbidden Corner which if you like Dungeons and Dragons is absolutely awesome (their website so DOES NOT do the place justice !!!) Well-scary tunnels and mystical rooms inside, and loads more riddles, mysteries, trails and mazes around the rest of the estate. Stunning !!! If you are anywhere at all near this place - GO !!!! They didn't even have the decency to charge over-inflated admission fees that we could at least moan about later

On the whole, fabulous weather, and over the time there, more Stella and wine than I could possibly account for !!! Great when the next morning is dictated by the first kid up !!!

Fabulous holiday for us - glad to hear so many of the rest of you having a good time as well :)
