im in the process of building a lab - to start with for the ccna - then to go down the voice route


Does anyone have a "average" ebay type list for fair prices - i was going to compile one so i can keep a eye out

roughtly what is a fair price for needed equipment such as the 2950 or the 2610xm etc
(feel free to add other routers or switches which help with certification)

I paid around £250 for:

2x 2500 series routers
1x 2610
2x 2924 swithces

plus came with all required cables etc.

 

Good CCNP / CCVP Lab

Cisco 2811 Router
Cisco 1841 Router
Cisco 3550 Switch
Cisco 3550 Switch
2 X Cisco IP Phones

Estimate Cost: £1,000

I would not buy any of the old stuff anymore as it has too much limitations on the new software IOS's etc.
The reson for the 1841 is so you can practice BGP + MPLS as well Thats an all rounder lab also supports VPN/IP Sec.

I'm getting there so far I have:

2 X Cisco 1841 Router
1 X Cisco 3550 Switch

need 1 more 3550 switch and 1 2811 and im done the lab will cover most things for me!!
