Hi all,

The I.T. dept deployed this wallpaper throughout the network.

On the bottom right, it shows tech info like comp name, ip add, mac address, how was this done? especially the infor collected part?

looks third party, probably sysinternals bginfo

 

D- Cheers for that, looks like i'll deploy that over my mates network... gonna make my live ever so easy!

 

I have used this before but I do have one question:

On the image you posted it looks like they have included links to contact details, how have they done this?

 

According to the site, you can customise the details, so adding the contact info, wouldn't of been a problem

Looking at the info at Sysinternals - I suspect the 'Custom' button.

not sure those are links, nelix. they look like a underlined header, similar to "technical information". notice the empty area underneath both "contact details".

 

There are not actually links, there are just tel numbers and contact details for the services, they are just written in stone... I blanked them out on purpose...
