I need to get rid of this. I do a fair amount of purchasing of computer equipment for the city and when I was logging onto a site, I inadvertently input my logon name and password into the logon name field. Naturally, this shows my password in plain text which is unacceptable. How do I clear the memory and disable autocomplete? Thanks.

Go to internet options, content tab, near the bottom is an autocomplete button which allows you to configure it.
