Found these guys Audioexam yesterday, they do exam study guides in mp3, don't know about the quality but the price is right. I was doing a lot of commuting while doing the MCSE and despersately wanted something like this, I even went as far as putting some of the microsoft mutimedia training stuff on tape.

Phil, thanks for that - will check it out later !

I fully agree with you on this - it's another dimension for absorbing data. I really miss not having the CBT disks for the Network+. I used them for both 210 and 215 exams, and found them invaluable for when you just can't be @rsed reading another page.

I also thought about putting them on tape, so's I could listen while out in the van, but I knew if I started bring a tape deck into my lab, then the music gear would follow shortly :P

Bad idea  Got to stay focused.

It's amazing how much you can take in whilst doing something mundane in so-called "wasted" time, ie travelling or working (well, my job anyway ...)

Has anyone actually tried these or any others.

I have a lot of 'wasted' time on my hands at the momemt and wan'ted to try and get in some 'reading' at those times I can't get any books out (odd vision popped into my head of trying to prop up Meyers on the dashboard while motoring down the M4!)

I don't want to get caught with a whie elephant.

    Phil,

Good find. When i was studying for A+ i "captured" the sound of the Cats course and put on CD. Whem i was out and about driving i used to listen them over and over. I find it works.

Tried the link and some of the examples don't work. Good offer on at the mo $99 for all of them! :biggrin

I'm not a very good audio learner. The only way I learn from lectures is by taking notes and studying them later. I really need to see what I'm learning. That's why books, graphics and hands on really works better for me.

Will give it a go then - if I am going to be listening to something for over an hour a day in the car might as well be something usefull :)

Will let you know they are like!
