I'm currently looking at buying Cities - Skylines, I've not played a city-building simulation for many years but after our nostalgic gaming trip in another thread I started looking for something to play while I'm not working.

I currently play a bit of Clash of Clans and Samurai Siege but I find this type of gaming very unsatisfactory due to the limited nature of flowing game play. I'm really not a fan of this new way of game play that these apps have created. Does anyone enjoy these type of app games or are there any games available that you can just play wthout having to wait until you have enough 'credits/coins/gems'?

I agree but think of the added costs like download content similar to that of an xbox/ps game. Tbh you may be better off ignoring the free games (as you get what you pay for) and paying for some top quality ones.
