So I ordered two Apple Sports watches on launch day, both were ordered within 2 minutes of each other and due for delivery between the end of May and 9th of June.

Anyway I got a dispatch notice today telling me one of the watches has shipped and due for delivery tomorrow, the only issue I have is that this one isn't for me :(

You would have thought that two orders placed within minutes of each other would ship on the same day but alas that's not the case (identical watches \ spec).

That is odd. Amazingly I emailed a work mate tonight asking what he thought of his. Just waiting for him to reply but pretty sure he will love it. I fancy one but I'm trying to curb my spending lately. I need to get this portfolio grown or that light at the end of the tunnel I can see might be a train :)

I am really looking forward to it, it was a birthday present for me (my birthday was nearly 2 months ago).

He replied saying it's awesome. You'll know this but it charges like a toothbrush so no need to put a cable into it. He also said it got an update today that he thinks made it feel quicker so that's good. My birthday is in august so hopefully the initial hype will have settled down and I can get one then

Yeah Watch 1.0.1 update,. turns out that mine is arriving today as well, got notified at 23:25 last night that it's due for delivery today, funny thing is that it's shipping via a different carrier than the one from earlier in the day.

Really looking forward to it :)

This is cause for much amusement in my team, we were at a team meeting outing when they launched and two of ours were hitting the refresh button until 8AM one got there order in about 8:02 and the other about 5 minutes later. Suffice to say one has had her's for quite some time and the other has to wait until the end of June.

Its certainly one way of creating a bit of hysteria about something by not making enough of them!

So I got my watch yesterday, still learning about it but love it, it's really light on the wrist (although the box itself is quite heavy).

Early days but what's the battery like mate? I guess it's irrelevant as long as you can get a day out of it which I'm sure you will

So I put the watch on at 06:45 this morning, drove down to City Airport to drop the other watch off with it's owner, played around with mine throughout the day, took a call on it, and played some more, just took it off and had 47% battery left :o

Perfect mate that's all you want isnt it. I'd imagine it's one of those things, you'll find more uses for it as more apps come out do you think? I want one now :(

I own a decent watch but rarely wear it because it is too expensive to replace the strap (I wear tshirts all the time which means the buckle get's scratched all the time).

I love it, I ordered mine on the day ordering opened up but still took ages to get here.

I need to really just play with the watch more to learn more about it, it's been really good tho and am not experiencing any woeful battery issues, put it on charge last night with something like 45% free whilst I took it off an hour agon with 61% free. Do have issues with heart beat not working correctly since 1.0.1 tho (known issue with loads of posts on the boards about it).

    Got any hints\tips?

My heart rate isn't being done every 10 minutes, now its whenever it can be arsed. One i found yesterday in the stop watch app...force touch in the app and you can get 4 different stop watches.
