Anyone's thoughts please?

This is definitely off topic. I've an ex that I don't want anything to do with. In Gmail, I set up a filter whereby any email from her skips my inbox and gets sent straight back to her. However, I just happened to check my 'Bin' in GMail, and a lo - an email from her. It's about a film we watched some time, wanting to know what the name is.

So my question to you fine gents (And few ladies), which would be the better course of action? a) Tell her where to go *ahem* b) Answer the question c) Ignore it, like the countless emails from her that I've probably unknowingly ignored already?

Or anything else you might suggest? I'm not necessarily looking for moral high ground, but this particular little *ahem* uses seemingly innocent methods like this to try and gain control, and screw things up for you for the sake of it. Sigh.

    So, your thoughts please?

    Cheers,
    Matt.

Tell her that you don't want anything further to do with her, that's the best thing to do and will help in the long term.

Else, create a new email address and don't tell her it. Close the original account and emails will auto-bounce back.

If you've already made your position clear then just delete it and forget it.

I guess it all comes down to how the relationship ended. Personally, I'd ignore it and move on.

Assuming that you've already made it clear to her where she stands, I would agree with the above and delete.

Ignore. Any response at all, even telling her where to go, could be seen as encouragement. After all, you're answering her, right?

Ignore, as any form of response would be seen as encouragement

(That is assuming you've already informed her that you don't want any more connection with her)

If your really really wanted nothing to do with her would you even have to ask the question?

    Delete and move on.
