    Hi there,

A friend of mine was very pleased to get to know a program called sandboxie. With this you could run a program in memory and block writing to disk. Has anyone here worked with this program before and did you like it?

    TIA.

never heard of it (link) - but it sounds like it makes all program that run under sandboxies as read-only, as it does the save the data to disk, which can be a good thing.
if im right, i would rather use VM's.

Yes, but the big advantage is you do not need a separate OS, it is just a few KB, free and extremely flexible.
I'm going to try the program and will report here on it usefullness but if someone had allready tried it, why reinvend the wheel?
