    Guys, hope you're well.

Does anyone know of a good pdf viewing software that will work well on server 2008 R2 64bit ??

Adobe reader locks up, have tried a few others including nitro pdf but that caused servers to reboot.

    Any advice appreciated

I love Foxit, and have used it for years and as AJ says it workd on Windows 7, 64 bit, so my guess is, that's the one for you.

Thanks guys, my supervisor isn't keen on foxit on terminal servers as it installs toolbars etc

We've gone for http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evince a linux based one and looking good so far.

Thanks for the replies, much appreciated.

Out of interest what version of Adobe reader were you using? I only ask because I had 9.3 running without issue on my old HP2510p running 2008R2.

I have Acrobat Reader on my Hyper-V 2008 R2 box as well, and never had issues...

Have you checked all drivers are up to date? Can you get a crash dump? Blue Screen? Any dump logs?
