There aren't any study materials... it's a beta exam. If you need something to study, I'd suggest studying the Vista OS.

No, going to take a break from studying for a while. Need to relax and recharge the batteries.

The only thing I can suggest is to use the material for the 70-620, 70-621 and the 70-622 exams, as well as playing around with the OS, using technet, etc....

For those going for it, good luck :)

Where have you found what little info you have on that exam beta? If its to do with multimedia formats and data etc i might be interested in it. But i'd like to know more and cant find mention of it on MS site.

I can understand that as a beta exam i couldnt sit it unless invited by MS (no chance there), but wouldnt they list somewhere what the exam is about and subjects covered by it? After all surley its only the questions and difficulty that would change not the subjects?
Or are the subjects / objectives covered by the NDA aswell?

Normally, they do, but Microsoft hasn't listed the objectives for 71-623/70-623 on their Web site yet.

To be honest I would study more or less anything out there for the 71-623, that would include books like:

    Windows Vista Administrator's Pocket Consultant
    Introducing Windows Vista
    Microsoft Windows Vista Unveiled
    Windows Vista Step by Step

As well as a couple of CBT's:
    Windows Vista First Look
Transcender MSCert: TS: Configuring Windows® Vista Client

And play around with the home/ultimate edition of Vista.

Like BrainBeacon Michael already said "There aren't any study materials... it's a beta exam", unfortunetaly the study material directly associated with an exam doesn't appear until after the beta exam.

    Hope this helps.

Don't get me wrong it's not that technical, however it does give a good overview of the OS :)
