Anyone else keep chickens

Just as a quick question, does anyone else here have chickens or unusual pets at all.

I've got 10 chickens 9 girls and 1 **** at the moment but will be getting some more soon.
Oh yes and 6 cats and 2 fish!

I too keep chickens, fish and rabbits.....mainly in the freezer, although I do bring them out and warn them up in the oven occasionally

 

Do you have any photographs? I'm sure the ladies would be interested...

 

You should visit us here in Grand Cayman, there's feckin chickens EVERYWHERE. Nobody owns them, they're just wild and nobody knows how they got here.

The legend says they all used to belong to farmers until a hurricane blew them all over the island and none of the farmers knew which chickens belonged to whom!

More disturbingly, it's not that fun when you're sat in KFC and a couple of chickens are waddling by, staring at you through the window. Very spooky!

 

I have two goldfish. They just swim around and eat.

 

I once had an Albino garter snake, He was only a little thing. Had dogs the rest of the time.

 

I understand the 10 chickens and the 1 ****, but 9 girls? Is that legal in your country or something? What do you do, chain them up in your basement or something so they can't escape?

 

Currently no pets at all, I did have a cat a while back. I really want a dog but I'll wait a little.

 

"My kids" have 1 goldfish now. They had 3 but 2 seem to have just disappeared.

I'd love to have a pet chicken but am getting some quails instead. They're such cute little birds. n_n
