Any Moodle fans ?

Just started to fiddle around with Moodle mainly to see about using it for my students (adults) at the language school I'm teaching at.

Any recommendations for skins/plug-ins ? Had a go with a few. It's ok but I wouldn't say it's really that impressive

We do have a moodle server at our place, but it's a managed solution. We put it in our rack and plugged it in, not much else really.

 

I like the look of Claroline more.

Interesting, I've not come across any mention of that one.

Oh well, I'll stick with Moodle now as it's a one-click install on my VPS and I've already got it set up and running.

 

I know this thread is a few months old (only just joined this forum). I've used Moodle a fair bit over the last 4 years. If ya want any help, just let me know.

Thanks. I seem to have got to grips with it ok (apart from my usual gripes about support for open source software )

Did presentation to the MD yesterday and he was suitably gobsmacked at what I'd knocked up and the trial that I've been running the last couple of months.

Just got to wait and see now if I get the green light for a full setup and roll-out.
