    Hi All,

I hope I have the right word for what I am asking, does anyone know of any good Mnemonic to help in remembering and learning, for example some ones I remember are:

Every good boy deserves fruit (Music)
Never eat shredded wheat (Compass points)

Or even any good learning techniques for the A+ exams.

    Th in advance

And I always thought it was "Every Good Boy Deserves Favour" - also the title of a Moody Blues Album. :biggrin

And the term you were looking for is 'Mnemonic'.

Just found this one, not very good, but here it is anyway

People Can't Memorize Computer Industry Acronyms. This stands for PCMCIA, which is a credit-card sized slot found mostly on portable computers for cards such as modems and network interface devices. It stands for Personal Computer Memory Card International Association

Found this aswell. To do with the order of layers on the OSI data model. Though it applies more to networking
