just wanted to ask if there were any free knowledge bases out there - something small for windows just so we can organise our department's documentation for ourselves. it doesn't need bells and whistles - just the ability to organise and update our docs.

if not , is there a package that is quite low cost for SMEs.

What about a link to Microsoft?

 

There are several. www.wown.com is a nice startingplace.
You will get links there to a number of sites; special are in the left colomn: isaserver.org, msexchange.org and so on.
A specialist on exchange is Daniel Petri: www.petri.co.il
You could also search for the so called MVP's, the Most Valued Professionals.
Also the allready mentioned MS-website.

That should be enough for the first few years.
