Hey chaps, and chapesses,

I'm almost ready now for my N+, and am hoping to bang it out on Wednesday or Thursday. (So I can actually get round to finish my 70-270 - which ive been studying since before August last year.)

Just wondering if anyone had any advice on what I should be paying particular attention to when putting in those final hours of revision.

Any help would be appreciated peep.

Having nerver taken the exam I can't really say. (It is on my to do list somewhere, but it's a long list!) But I think that I would be looking at the objectives and seeing what I think I'm struggling with.

I'd also be reading through the Cramsession that Japanese Elvis recommended in this thread.

 

Been a few months since I passed N+ and every exam is different but I do remember getting loads of DHCP, 802.x and wireless questions.

i havent either sorry but i heard you got to know your OSI model backwards and forwards... or is that just for every networking related cert!!!

 

Make sure you've memorised your cabling/media standards.

Also have a look at wireless antenna standards and propogation; not in many texts but had quite a few questions on this in my exam.

Protocols at which layers in OSI of course...arp is at layer????
