This time I'm confused. The testing program I'm using claims that the correct answer is B but I would go for a C.

Which of the following is not a function of the ramdrive.sys file that is located on the startup disk created under Windows 98?

A Providing a location for the compressed utilities on the startup disk to be extracted to.
B Performing expanded memory management when the computer boots.
C Creating a temporary drive letter in memory that can be accessed like a hard drive.
D Allowing the utilities on the Windows floppy disk to run even if there is no partitioned hard drive on the machine.

The question is which of the following is *not* a function of ramdrive.sys. It seems based on the above explanation, that C *would* be a function of ramdrive. Questions like these can be particularly tricky.
