Am i nearly there??

    Hi all, Just a quick message. Ive been studying A+ for some months now.... For the A+ Hardware course this is what i have covered.......

    PC Fundamentals. Power supplies and cases.
    The motherboard and CPU.
    Memory Buses and Cards.
    Data Input, Data Storage, Displays
    Printers portable computers. Introduction to networking.
    Network implementations, General troubleshooting, and general customer service.
    IRQ'S etc etc.

    Just wondered.... AM I NEARLY THERE YET?? lol

    mate - there is a difference between convering the topics and knowing the topics... try and get your hand on some self testing software to see how your doing...

    Oh i take online tests throughtout my course. My overall is 80%.

    Different tests will give different percentages.

    IMHO the best thing is to try as many tests as you can get hold of.

    Because of the variability you should consider 80% as the absolute minimum to achieve - many people get lower marks in the actual exam from a variety of factors, such as anxiety, unfamiliar surroundings etc.

    Take a look at the official objectives on www.comptia.org

    And take the tests. It's okay listing a bunch of topics, but if you're not scoring on the exam, you're obviously missing something. A lot of testing software should tell you which objectives you're scoring low on. You can use these results to brush up on your specific areas.
