    Hello everyone,
I stumbled across this forum a few weeks ago when I was researching a training provider, and have been a regular visitor ever since. I'm very grateful as the comments posted here helped me dodge a bullet with that particular provider.

Anyway, I'm a telecoms engineer with 6 yaers experience whose hit a dead end with my current employer (large ISP). I want to do CCNA & beyond to help open some new doors to me.

I'm currently shopping around for the best way to do it and I've just posted a new thread in the Training & development forum, asking about "cisco-certification.co.uk".

Here's hoping for some useful feedback. :)

Welcome to CF! I have to admit that I've never heard of the training provider you mention, but that doesn't mean anything! :biggrin

    Hi Johnny,

I'm krizzy from the Philippines. If I were to ask, I think you should better go for MCSE track because certification-wise, Microsoft is globally known. I have nothing against Cisco but you see, Cisco certification is only required by companies who are also using Cisco routers. That - we know for a fact is lower than Microsoft users. :)

Hi everyone, Thanks for the warm welcome!

Krizzy, thanks for your input. Yes MCSE is something I'm aslo considering as I have good background knowledge for that too. In any case I've decided to self study and spend money on reading material, rather than course fees.

    Cheers!
