I bought a copy of the All In One A+ Certification from amazon marketplace second hand. It was listed as the 6th edition but when it arrived it was the fourth edition. Got a full refund on it and the seller didn't want it back.

My question is, I'm not going to be able to get my hands on the latest edition for a few weeks, how out of date is this edition, would I still be able to use it. Don't want to start using it and It's completely irrelevant.

    cheers.

It's not *completely* irrelevant... but technology has changed a LOT since the 4th edition was out. If it were me, I'd wait on the 6th.

It wont be completley irrelevant but it will be missing some of the domains you need to know as the exam has changed since then, as BM said get the 6th edition.

Just get Sybex book. That's all you need.
