I'm 18 and in the UK I've just finished school and hoping to go into IT somehow. During my last year I studied for the Comptia A+ exam and took that quite recently and passed! hooray!

Now I have to find a job, any job. Preferrably pc technician / office junior / assistant system admin something along those lines.. I've done loads of comp stuff since I was really young. (uhm started programming on GWbasic when I was 8 )

I'm planning on taking and getting as many certs as I can for a year. So far my goal is: network+, CIW or I-net+ (not sure.. any suggestions?), MCP (70-270?). (in that order)

I find networks a bit difficult to learn about because I don't have anything to practice with..
Being a network admin junior/assistant or something would be useful, but I don't think I'll get a job like that.

Have you considered going the Modern Apprenticeship route? It will offer you entry to the world of IT.
