    Welcome to the forum!

I believe that you can use the A+ and Network+ as electives for the MCSE.

Firstly, hi and welcome, Inquesion :D

    Just to clarify
They can be used to count as one MCP towards your MCSA (the kinda halfway point), but for full MCSE, you'll still need the full 7 MS exams.

    HTH :D

i think the 'do A+ and net+ first' really only applies to people totally new to the IT field, alot of people change careers and such
you seem to have a little background in IT what with your last course and all, whats your current employment, is it IT related?

id say do Net+ if you have no networking experiance, but you dont need an A+ or Net+ to pass an MCSE if you have a bit of background

welcome to CF :) hope you settle in nicely
