Take a look through previous threads and I'm sure you'll find some usefull information to help you.

 

adding to SGUK advice there..make sure you have the latest N+ objectives, go through them ticking everything off that you have covered.

Make sure you know your Port numbers, Physical and logical topology, types of network cables used, the OSI model.
