Has anyone completed the Adobe Certification?

I have been considering doing Flash or Photoshop Training but have heard a few bad things anout exams.

Any experiences to share?

IMHO, do you really need to pass the certs in these products? Or would the training without the examination provide the knowledge you need?

 

I suppose I just like to get the Certification to validate the skills.

I don't think anything in Web Design requires Certification but I like a structure to my learning and the Certification Programmes usually offer this

 

The training is always where the knowledge is provided, an exam never tends to provide you any knowledge people do the exam to prove they have obtained the knowledge they got via training.

 

Yeah, but for web development? ...

Web Development jobs are always got on past portfolio rather than a certificate ssaying you can use Photoshop.

 

Can do no harm having the certificate, especially if you can combine it with past work and good experience.

Like any type of cert it is only one part of many factors that help you get a job.
