Not sure if this is in the right forum, but it is network related.

Anyway, I need to install Network Monitor on one of our servers. The gits that host our servers have said they'll do it............for a price! Even though the components are technically part of the o/s that they supply!

I was thinking of running RIS to install Network Monitor onto one of the servers, but it appears no-one's installed RIS either!

Is it possible to upload and run the windows server 2003 o/s files to a server without using RIS, or do you physically need to put the disk in the machine?

    Thanks,

    Paul

How do you currently access the server? you may be able to do it without resorting to RIS. Besides, can RIS even simply install a tool?

You could install Network Monitor via remote desktop, and access the source installation files by mapping a network drive to your cd rom drive.
