I recently used version 9 home to back up and restore a system.
What a great program! It backed up the 18GB drive in 11 minutes to a network drive. I then booted the machine on the Acronis boot disc with the new hard drive installed and recovered the data over the external drive in 23 minutes.
Well impressed, and worth the $80

I have that after reading good reviews about it.

I admit I haven't used it in test-mode, let alone in anger! Must schedule some time for that....

I think it is a great program.. well happy with it.

The setup disc i booted from (new hard drive) even found my workgroup and could have recovered from there or a RIS server!
