    Almost right!

2 out of three question are correct.

These question are taken straight out of Mike meyers A+ Lab manual for OS.:biggrin if anyone is wondering (i.e. TCM):)

mate - the reason i was asking is because they sounded fimilar.your not allowed to copy material straight off as it copyrighted material and can get CF into trouble.

You also can't heavily paraphrase from the book. Those questions are rightfully his (or his publisher's). Changing a couple of words still infringes copyright (just in case that's what you did - I haven't checked).

You can't edit out your own post's text yourself? :huh

Sometimes the easiest solution is the one most overlooked.

Okay, for now I have changed the questions and answers as much as I can so that they are not replicas of MM's ones.

I will have a chat to the other staff and see if they think the thread should be pulled.

UCM, you should know better than to post copyrighted questions! Go and stand in the corner for 30 mins :dry

It would be more beneficial to you and less likely to get us in trouble if you wrote your *own* questions!

i agree with Pete - i have writing my own set of questions helped me understand it, also, and as they clever clogs answered them, then that just reinforced what i thought i knew was correct, as you guys have realised, i have quite a few different answers by - Er <cough> Harry, which of course i did not mind at all

EDIT: did that make sense? i'll try again.

i wrote my own questions as this helped my understand the logic behind the question. i found that when posting the qz of the day, if these clever clogs could answer the questions with the answers that i gave, then this would mean that i obviously understood it. However, at times, our -Er <cough> Harry *runs aways* gave different answers to what i had suggested but also explained them to me, which helped me understand where i went wrong or something else, of course, i did not mind his contribution.

    Did that help?
