Passed with 698, I'm sure I could have done better but I rushed through the exam and now I'm remembering the questions I got wrong

never mind, after all that only one damn question on IRQs, loads of networking and an uncomfortable amount of questions on SCSI (my weekest subject).

anyhoo, my first cert is done and I'm happy.... plan to build a buget vista running pc to boot with xp and linux. Plan to order the study books for N+ next and keep chasing an entry level IT job.

cheers guys, its great boost for me. Passing this reminds me I'm on the right track and will make working in my crappy job a bit more bareable!

 

Not sure, For the A+ exam I used Mike Mayers A+AIO backed up by James Pyles - PC Technician street smarts for practise exercises.

I'm thinking of a similar setup for Net+, A large all in one book for the bulk of the info complemented by a more lab based book for practice.... any ideas. I'm probably going to ask in the N+ forum
